Fun Stuff - I have run into several very large men out here on motorcycles that are telling me that I am crazy to do this 25,000 mile 50 State "Dream Power Ride" SOLO!! All I have to say is "GROW A PAIR"..........:)

I'm back............

Yes, I did pay a visit to my hometown yesterday - lots of emotions ran deep into my soul - some good & some not so good.
Seeing my Mother's head stone dropped me to my knees - the Power of this Mission I am on is worth all the many sacrifices that I will pay out here - ALL for the greater good!!

I also had a chance to spend a special evening with 2 people that played a big part in the development of who I am today. They are more than a coach & teacher - they are shape shifters - molding young minds & bodies into productive members of our society.

Love you - Coach Garland Pennington & Mr's Ruth Pennington - Weleetka Public School was lucky to have the BEST on their staff!! I will work hard to make you proud as I travel the highways & byways of this great country of ours to make a difference!

I am hunkered down in a campsite North of Austin - heading deeper into the heart of Texas tomorrow.........

DJ is in her home town.

DJ is hunkered down in her home town of Weleetka OK, grateful to have missed some really nasty weather in Tulsa. She spent the day visiting with old friends and cruising down memory lane. She had a very private and emotional trip to her Mother's grave site and visited the place where the shack she grew up in once stood. She will be heading toward Huston TX tomorrow. DJ is in Oklahoma.

DJ spent the night in Tulsa, camped out in front of her sister Vanita's house. It rained pretty hard for several hours, but the tent didn't leak at all. DJ had a great time visiting with her sister, she cooked DJ a fantastic breakfast which she truly enjoyed. DJ would like to thank Fox 23 News for taking time to interview her about the Posey Foundations mission. Tonight she is spending the night in Troy Aikman's home town.Until next time... God Bless. Jones family reunion.

I can't begin to tell you how wonderful it was to spend time with my beautiful wife, even if it was only for a little while. I made the drive from Albuquerque to Amarillo in about four hours. My traveling companion was our cat Valkyrie Joe (a.k.a. Little Beef). Time flew by and before long the Jones family was together again. DJ shared her adventures with me and showed me some incredible pictures and film footage she's taken of her journey so far. We had some laughs and shared some real quality time together, but before we knew it was time to say goodbye. DJ will be traveling toward Oklahoma today,and will shut down for the night somewhere near Tulsa. Live well DJ, you're in our thoughts and prayers. Updated by DJ's husband Mark
