Combat this.....................

Yummmmm...................roach baits don't stand a chance around these parts!! I am still dealing creepy crawlies - king sized roach snacks, spiders, mice, ants, Gecos & very large flies............

On a good note: customer service update I did receive the product I was waiting for!

Day 139.....................

While going through all my receipts from Canada - I found out something very interesting today............. When I spent time up there getting to & from Alaska, I used either Canadian funds or my debit card. Since conversion rates vary minute to minute - I thought this would be the best way to handle it!! Was I wrong...........every time I used the debit card - a small conversion fee was attached!!! Small fees add up - ouch!!

Sometimes I think having 4 legs & fur is not such a bad thing!
Another lesson learned, another wrinkle on the old brain..........after completing this journey my brain is going to look like a California raisin......................:)

Time to get back land of numbers, words, photos & film - I can't wait to share this outrrrrrrageous stuff with you - until next time my friends, God Bless: DJ & Big Bertha

Customer service........................

Please press 1 for English or 2 for a living - breathing person.............

I spent the last hour on the phone with a company that will remain nameless, checking on an order I placed last week. To say the least - the order was "messed up once again". I did finally speak to a manager, a very nice young man that took a bit of my frustration very well I might add. The dilema should be resolved in a couple of days - please stay tuned.

Are companies making so much money that customers are not valued anymore? The old saying "The customer is always right" in most cases has become: press 1 for this, press 2 for that - please hold for the next person with an attitude...........
Good products + Good service = happy customers & referals "priceless"

Thank goodness for the companies & people that have & that are helping the Posey Foundation - their customer service & service is the BEST!!!

FYI: Mark is back at home in Albuquerque, NM - while he was in Hawaii he touched the waters of the Pacific Ocean, a memory he will savor for the rest of his life!

Time Zone....................

Well - since the night life here doesn't really get started until Mid-night, which is 4:00A.M. Mountain Standard time........guess what dancing will have to wait!

FYI - I was approached by a gentleman Sept. 16, 2006 the day I completed my 25,000/200,000 mile day. He made a comment to me: "how did you managed to calculate your miles to the day?" I responded: "it wasn't easy, I used maps.........I calculated & recalculated dozens of times to make it happen!" He had never heard of a woman that could read a map & said that there had to be a man somewhere mapping it for me...............
This message is for HIM & the rest of the folks that think a WOMAN can't read maps, ride an 800lb. motorcylce through ALL 50 states, SOLO & hang with grizzlies.....................

You have now met TWO female warriors that......Dream it, See it & CAN achieve it!!! - DJ & Big Bertha!!

Lazy Sunday........

Yesterday took it out of me....................but after a GOOD night sleep I am refreshed & ready for a little fun - I am going to dinner & dancing with Mr. Jones.
