Chillin in LA!

DJ is enjoying a little well deserved R&R with some friends that live in the LA area. She will continue South towards San Diego in a day or two. We had an opportunity to talk about her experience with the demon ants at the campsite the other day. The little monsters were into everything. They even crawled into the sleeping bag with her. She sustained numerous bites, and spent considerable amount of time going through her gear to make sure they were gone. Even Big Bertha could not escape their wrath. DJ said that miles down the road they were still crawling around on Big Bertha when she stopped for gas. Like everything else DJ took it in stride, saying "Hey it's all part of the deal".
